1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your use of:

• the Bandle website (Bandleshare.com)

• the Bandle Chrome Extension

• all related features, services, and tools

Bandle is operated by an individual creator (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using Bandle, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use Bandle.

2. Eligibility

To use Bandle, you must:

• be at least 13 years old;

• have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement;

• use Bandle only for lawful purposes.

You may not use Bandle if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

3. Your Account

Bandle uses Google OAuth for authentication.
When signing in, you authorize us to receive limited account information (email + Google Account ID).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and login method.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• you violate these Terms;

• we detect suspicious or abusive activity;

• required by law or security concerns.

4. Your Content

“Content” includes links, notes, text, AI-generated outputs, summaries, titles, descriptions, and other information you save.

4.1. Ownership

You retain full ownership of all Content you save in Bandle.

4.2. License to Operate the Service

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of operating Bandle.

We do not use your Content for advertising, profiling, or AI training.

4.3. Feedback

If you provide suggestions or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without compensation.

5. AI Features

Bandle uses OpenAI API to generate summaries, titles, descriptions, notes, and other features.

5.1. How AI Works

• AI processes only the Content you save or open.

• You do not provide custom prompts; prompts are predefined internally.

• We do not store AI prompts.

• We only store the final AI output if you choose to save it.

• AI outputs may contain errors; verify information independently.

5.2. Disclaimers

AI-generated content is provided “as is”, without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or reliability.

We are not responsible for:

• factual inaccuracies;

• hallucinations;

• incorrect interpretations;

• reliance on AI outputs.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Bandle:

• to violate laws or regulations;

• to attempt unauthorized access;

• to bypass security mechanisms;

• to upload malware or malicious content;

• to abuse AI features (spam, scraping, harmful content);

• to reverse-engineer or decompile the platform;

• to extract or reuse internal systems or data.

We may suspend accounts engaging in harmful or abusive behavior.

7. Chrome Extension

By installing the Bandle Chrome Extension, you acknowledge that:

• certain permissions may be requested (active tab, optional browsing history if enabled);

• Bandle does not collect full browsing history;

• Bandle does not track users across sites;

• permissions can be revoked in your browser settings.

Violation of Chrome Web Store policies may result in suspension.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Cancellations

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.

8.1. Billing

Lemon Squeezy handles:

• card payments

• invoices

• taxes/VAT

• receipts

Your card information is not stored by Bandle.

8.2. Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

• you will be billed according to the plan you select;

• subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled;

• you can cancel anytime via your Lemon Squeezy account or the “Manage Subscription” link in Bandle.

8.3. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Lemon Squeezy’s refund policies.
We may issue refunds at our sole discretion.

9. Emails & Notifications

We use Mailgun to send essential transactional emails, such as:

• registration confirmation

• password resets

• security alerts

• subscription notices

We do not send marketing emails without explicit consent.

10. Third-Party Services and Subprocessors

We rely on trusted service providers to operate Bandle:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting and infrastructure

• OpenAI — AI processing

• Mailgun — email delivery

• Lemon Squeezy — payments and billing

We may update this list as the platform evolves.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Bandle at any time, without prior notice, if:

• you violate these Terms;

• your account poses a security risk;

• required by law.

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon termination:

• your access is revoked;

• your Content may be deleted;

• certain obligations survive (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits).

12. Disclaimers

Bandle is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including:

• fitness for a particular purpose;

• availability;

• reliability;

• accuracy of AI outputs;

• uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that:

• Bandle will always be available;

• AI results will be correct;

• data will never be lost;

• the service will be error-free.

You use Bandle at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages;

• we are not liable for data loss, lost profits, or business disruptions;

• our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for Bandle in the past 12 months or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in such cases, the minimum allowed by law applies.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bandle from claims arising from:

• misuse of the service;

• violation of these Terms;

• infringement of third-party rights;

• illegal or harmful activities conducted using Bandle.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect.

Continued use of Bandle after updated Terms indicates agreement.
